Fairhaven, MA’s Trusted Hearing Care Experts

Among the reasons people avoid the help they need for hearing loss from an audiologist near Fairhaven is the misconception that a hearing test does not fix their hearing problem. Although the test itself is not the solution, the information gathered during a hearing assessment is essential for designing the right treatment for your hearing challenges.

Since 2003, the mission of Duncan Hearing Healthcare has been to educate and provide support to people all over Massachusetts with healthy hearing solutions. Thousands of patients and local physicians trust our team of ten audiologists and hearing care professionals for our expertise in providing expert hearing care to the Dartmouth, Fall River, and Hyannis, MA communities.

How We Can Help

Our Hearing Assessments Are The First Step To Better Hearing

“You need to get your hearing checked,” is usually the frustrated reply of a loved one who recognizes that your hearing isn’t as good as it used to be. Although getting your hearing checked does not fix your problem, it is the first step toward designing a hearing care treatment program that will address your unique hearing needs.

About 15% of the U.S. population, according to a recent national survey, experience hearing challenges, indicating that hearing loss is much more common than you think. If you or a loved one is struggling with your hearing, your first step to better hearing is to schedule a quick, non-invasive hearing assessment at our Dartmouth clinic.

Advanced Hearing Aid Technology Available To Fairhaven

Whenever hearing aids are your best solution for better hearing, you won’t be fitted with one of those bulky devices like your parents or grandparents wore, because advanced hearing technology provides improved performance in a smaller package. In addition to rechargeable batteries and noise cancellation technology, today’s hearing aids allow you to link your device to your smartphone, television, or PC in order to enhance your hearing experience as well as your life.

Our hearing instrument specialists don’t abandon you once we sell you a hearing device. We commit to ongoing follow-up care for our hearing aids patients with hearing instrument tune-ups, clean and check services, and hearing aid repairs, which we extend to all members of the Fairhaven community at affordable rates, even if you’re not our patient.

Take Control Over Your Tinnitus

The continuous ringing, whistling, hissing, buzzing, or pulsing sounds you hear are symptoms of a neurological condition known as tinnitus, which makes concentration difficult and threatens your quality of life. The majority of about 50 million Americans who experience tinnitus only experience it once in a while, but many individuals are affected by it day and night without an end in sight.

Those in Fairhaven, MA experiencing the stress, anxiety, sleep loss, and focus issues due to ongoing tinnitus can find hope at Duncan Hearing. Our team of experts has a great deal of experience providing tinnitus assessments and we provide you with access to proven technologies and therapeutic techniques that can help you to manage your condition so you can find relief.

Low-Contact And No-Contact Alternatives For Fairhaven, MA

Our focus at Duncan Hearing Healthcare is on the overall health and well-being of our patients, so we provide hearing care that addresses your need for safety as well as convenience with alternative curb-side and tele-audiology appointments.

Those who require a low-contact alternative can take advantage of our curb-side service, which allows you access to hearing care support services, such as a device clean and check, hearing aid repairs, assistance with troubleshooting or adjustments, and hearing tests, while you remain in your vehicle at our Dartmouth office.

Whenever travel, schedules, and health-related challenges make attending an appointment in Dartmouth inconvenient, we continue to provide access to our hearing care experts by using tele-audiology as a no-contact means to meet your hearing care needs from your Fairhaven home.
