Katie Baker, Hearing Instrument Specialist Apprentice at Duncan Hearing Healthcare

Katie grew up in Somerset and went to Somerset High School. She attended Bridgewater State University and completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Public Relations in 2012.

While Katie’s initial expertise was in the automotive industry, after finding out about an opportunity to work with Dr. Duncan, she was elated and jumped at the opportunity.

With determination a strong aspect of her character, Katie loved the idea of a new opportunity. She also loved working with people and helping them in any way that she can.

As a current apprentice hearing instrument specialist, Katie loves getting to help patients hear again. The best part of her role is witnessing patients’ faces light up when they turn on their hearing aids for the first time.

Outside of the clinic, Katie loves to hang out with friends and do crafts.

If you could have dinner with one person (dead or alive) who would it be?

I would like to have dinner with my grandfather who passed away when I was in high school. I spent a lot of time with him when I was younger so I would like to catch up with him and learn his gardening secrets.

What is your favorite sports team?

All Boston Sports!

What is your favorite food?

Chicken Parm

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
