Kimberly Duclos, HIS

Kimberly grew up in Fall River, MA and has been a vital member of the Duncan Hearing Healthcare team since September of 2016.

She studied health sciences from 2010 to 2015 at both Bristol Community College and New England Institute of Technology. She went through extensive hands on training and worked hard to get her Hearing Instrument Specialist License.

Her expertise and extensive background in customer service as well as several years of food service business management provide her with a special set of skills. Her special talent is brightening the day of everyone who comes into contact with her.

As a Hearing Instrument Specialist, she works directly with patients to assess their auditory needs. Whether through a comprehensive hearing test, selecting devices or real ear measurements, she uses a combination of methods to ensure each patient is receiving maximum benefit from their hearing aids.

While she loves working directly with patients, her favorite thing about Duncan Hearing Healthcare Team is the fact that she gets to be around women who are driven to work hard and work together to give patients the best experience when they visit Duncan Hearing.

One of her personal favorite success stories is when she fit a patient who had suddenly lost their hearing in her left ear with a hearing device. She was fit with a Bicros System and the minute I turned it on for her she started to cry. Her first follow up appointment was 2 weeks after her fitting, and she came in and told me about the things she heard now, that she hadn’t in years. She was hearing her dog’s nails on the hardwood floor, she could hear her daughter singing in her room, and she could even hear the wind. She worked in theater and found her hearing loss made her timid and self conscious, but since having the hearing aids she has more confidence in herself. It’s a great feeling knowing how happy you’ve made someone by helping them to hear better.

Kimberly makes her home in Swansea with her 11-year-old daughter, Emma and fiancé, Eric. She enjoys spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, and utilizing her creative talents. She even has an Etsy shop where she sells wire wrapped crystals she makes herself.
