Hear For The Holidays – Meet Our Hyannis Winner

02/16/2022 | Local News, Patient Resources, Patient Stories

After we announced our Hear for the Holidays giveaway back in November, we were truly stunned by all of the responses and nominations sent in by you.

The prize offered three local people in Fall River, Hyannis, and Dartmouth the opportunity to win a pair of hearing aids and access to audiological care.

So, how did we decide the winner?

Well, our decisions were based on the thoughtful nominations sent in by you, which were open throughout the month of November.

Hear for the Holidays was an opportunity to change one local person’s life for the better, and we are so privileged to be able to do this. It’s just another reason why we love what we do!

So, without further ado … the winner of our 2021 Hear for the Holidays giveaway is Michael Goulart!

The Winner!

The Winner, Michael Goulart:

Michael has had a severe hearing loss since he was a young child. While he has visited many doctors throughout his time, he has never found an appropriate solution or taken the steps to treat his hearing loss.

He is now almost 57, lives alone, works very hard, has a heart of gold, and is always doing nice things for his family.

After his sister passed away in March, like all of the family, he is having a hard time dealing with the loss.

It was an emotional moment when Michael was announced as the winner, as it was a complete surprise.

Moments like these resonate deeply and we are so grateful to be able to change Michael’s life for the better.

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Michael and look forward to seeing him progress over the next few months.

Do you know somebody that needs to see this? Why not share it?
