As Women’s History Month recently ended, I feel it’s important to acknowledge the recent article that celebrated women’s accomplishments on the Southcoast, titled, “FUN107’s list of 30 women on the Southcoast who have been making a difference in the world.”
I feel incredibly grateful to have been included in the article. It is an honor to be recognized alongside so many talented and inspiring women.
An excerpt from the article states:
“One of her goals has been to always help her team grow and follow their dreams and she has been able to promote many of her team from within, she has enjoyed watching them become more confident in themselves and their skills.”
This is a massive compliment to both my team and me. The audiology industry, like many other professions, has experienced a significant shift in recent years, as more and more women have joined the field, contributing to its growth and development.
Women have played a crucial role in shaping the future of audiology by bringing fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and new research to the table.
