When Deborah began exploring opportunities in the medical field, she was drawn to hearing care by her curiosity and eagerness to learn. The role offered a meaningful way to grow professionally while making a direct impact on patients’ lives.
In her position as a patient experience specialist, Deborah plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly. Her day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming patients, assisting with check-in and check-out, preparing rooms for the audiologist and hearing aid specialist, verifying insurance, and coordinating appointments, including referrals to ENT providers. As a bilingual team member, she also provides valuable support to patients who are more comfortable communicating in Spanish, helping guide them through appointments and ensuring they feel understood and at ease.
What Deborah enjoys most about her work is the kindness and compassion she sees every day-from both her colleagues and the patients they serve. She especially values being part of a team that creates such a positive environment, where patients feel supported while navigating the challenges of hearing loss. Seeing patients leave with a smile and a positive experience is one of the most rewarding aspects of her role.
Outside of the office, Deborah enjoys spending time outdoors and has a unique passion for archery. She loves visiting a local spot on Cape Cod where she can shoot at targets and balloons- a fun and relaxing way to unwind after a busy day.
