Today I had the honor of taking the stage at one of the most remarkable gatherings in our profession: a room full of some of the world's finest audiologists and most respected independent practices from across North America and beyond. 

To be asked to present in front of peers of that caliber is humbling in the best possible way. These are people who have dedicated their careers to doing this work properly. 

I was invited to share something close to my heart: the patient journey, and what it actually looks like when you build a practice around getting that journey right at every single step. I talked about the standards we've built across our locations in Fall River, Dartmouth, Falmouth and Centerville: the systems, the follow-through, the care philosophy that underpins everything we do, and what it takes to not just meet expectations, but to keep raising them. 

It was wonderful to connect with so many like-minded professionals who share that belief - people who understand that independent hearing care, done well, is something the big chains simply can't replicate. The conversations in the hallways were just as valuable as anything on the stage.

I'm leaving Toronto feeling genuinely energized, and more committed than ever to the work we do every day across our communities.
