As an independent business ourselves, it’s important to us to spread the word and support other local businesses around our community. We love helping other business owners in their passions and business endeavors; they’re what make our community the great place it is to live! 

This year, we decided to do things a little differently. 

We asked you, our patients, to nominate your favorite local businesses around town so we could see what made our community tick. 

7 Dogs Boarding and Day Care

Michele recommended 7 Dogs Boarding and Day Care in Fall River, grateful for their ability to always be there to lend a hand.

They’re a group of kind and compassionate people running a small business – and, of course, seeing so many pups is a bonus! 

Brooklawn Dental Health Center

Brooklawn Dental Health Center was recommended by Gaetane, who likes their courteous and friendly staff, as well as their streamlined and professional services.

Christopher’s Café 

A classic favorite for their delicious cinnamon buns, Christopher’s Café in Fall River was nominated by Maria and Lindsey for how much they give back to the community. 

Just one block from the beach with a collection of delicious sandwiches, salads, and entrees, this local hotspot has been working hard to help the homeless population in Fall River with clothing and food.

With up-to-date techniques for a better salon experience, The Cutting Edge Salon was Charlotte’s pick, recommending their friendly and professional stylists. 

Woman-owned and operated, this stylish salon offers specialized services in hair coloring, styling, and cutting.

The Daily Brew Coffeehouse 

Well-known for their extensive (and delicious) menu and an assortment of great coffees, The Daily Brew Coffeehouse was recommended by Margot for their “relaxed vibe” and their welcoming atmosphere.

Eight Cousins Bookstore 

This local bookstore in Falmouth is a favorite for bookworms across our community, where the inventory is small, but you’ll always find a perfect read! 

Evelyn loves how the staff go out of their way to help patrons and how bright and lively the store is with each visit.

Jane is grateful for Faneek’s dedication to giving back to our community, especially with their buy a meal scheme to make sure everyone gets fed one of their top-tier hot dogs.

Gallery on Main is dedicated to helping small artists and vendors across Cape Cod, and Lorretta always has a good time when she visits! 

“People are happy there, it makes me feel good when I go,” she told us in her nomination. With popcorn popping and a variety of drinks to choose from, we can’t blame her for frequenting the space either.
