You told us it’s about being actively listened to and respected. When your provider slows down and genuinely pays attention, the entire experience changes for the better. 

Our survey respondents repeatedly emphasized the importance of unhurried, respectful time during appointments. This commitment to attentive care ensures you benefit from thoughtful, personalized treatment at every visit. 

One patient, when nominating Karen Von Hamm, shared that she is a provider who

“takes time at each appointment to discuss particular health. Never feel rushed... Always feel respected.”

A moving testimonial about neurosurgeon Dr. Michael Harrison in Dartmouth speaks volumes. A patient’s husband, who suffered from severe pain, was told they might need to wait for surgery in Boston. Instead, hope and healing were found nearby:
