By shopping local, you’re investing in small businesses, not just buying products or services. I’ve found some of my favorite places to eat and shop by going local!
One of my latest favorites has to be Fiesta Mexican, just down the road from us in Dartmouth (along with their other locations listed on their website). With delicious food, great service, and an even better atmosphere, I’ve loved each visit there for dinner with my family.
Fiesta Mexican: Family Owned and Operated Since 2006
Fiesta is always a great spot to stop for some delicious food, and we’ve been back for seconds and thirds plenty of times! One of my favorite items on the menu has to be their homemade cheese dip that they bring out with crunchy, salty chips—it may be an appetizer, but it’s a fantastic starter before the meal itself, filling and warm.
From sizzling fajitas to delicious burritos stuffed full of meat and veggies, there’s something for everyone on their expansive menu—even for vegetarians, which was a pleasant surprise!
The carne asada may be a pretty basic choice, but it’s one of their best offerings for good reason—thinly sliced skirt steak, seasoned to perfection, served with beans, rice, and guacamole… I’m hungry just thinking about it.
The lunch menu is a little smaller, with lighter offerings, but stopping by for a burrito on my lunch break is not only fast, but also delicious. I always leave full of energy for the rest of my workday!
